In which Prudence Wood's transition from League Assassin to vigilante-adjacent operative goes about as smoothly as anyone could expect and Tim displays a deep dedication to puns, pop culture references, and rampant paranoia.

Granted, the paranoia turns out to be entirely justified. This is a highly entertaining story about Pru's shift from assassin to anti-hero, with some help from Tim.

Conner is dying. Lex is also dying. He offers to figure out if there's a way to fix Conner's issues. Well, the physical ones anyway. Some hilarious father-son bonding happens along the way. I enjoyed this a lot, as well as the sequel, Exobiological Toxicology, in which Conner and Clark get drunk for the first time on alien liquor.
