The Common Woman's Gold by [personal profile] edenfalling
In which Aravis encounters an unexpected complication on her way to set up a moderately illegal coffee import contract. An adorable reunion for Aravis and Lasaraleen!

Extending the Burden of Duty by [archiveofourown.org profile] Bodldops
Sethos extends his rescue services to other members of the family. Gets the voices just right. (there is some tense slippage in places.)

Yet I Resemble Him by [archiveofourown.org profile] Synergic
Pitch-perfect epilogue to "Crocodile on the Sandbank," showing how Peabody and Emerson went about getting engaged. Hilarious and sweet.

Ma'at by [archiveofourown.org profile] Sigridhr
Five quiet moments between Amelia and Ramses over the years. This is lovely, and really captures both the feel of the books and Amelia's voice. *sniffle*

Indiana Jones and the Trail of Light by [livejournal.com profile] tellitslant
Really enjoyable look at one way Indy and Marion may have met, on the trail of the Staff of Ra.

"You have done this before, right?" / She rolled her eyes. "Because I've been waiting for you." / "I'm worth waiting for," he insisted. / She pecked him on the lips. "I'm certainly waiting now." hee! So very Indy and Marion, over the course of the years.

Tomb and Body by [livejournal.com profile] artaxastra
In his old age, Sethos makes a discovery that would cast his brother's in the shade. I don't want to say too much, because I want you to have the squee moment I had when you figure it out. OMG! I love this so much! You know when you're reading something and you have to hold your breath, because it's perfect and you don't want to see it fumbled at the end? Well, that's how I read this, my love growing and growing, along with my fear that it would all come tumbling down into a bad ending, but it doesn't! The author handles the whole thing - even the connection to Vicky Bliss and John Smythe - with grace and aplomb. *heart*

Herr Doktor SilberneKlinge und Der Herr der Ringe by [livejournal.com profile] thermidor
I didn't have anything against hobbits, but I drew the line at the notion of editing sex scenes written by my boss. Herr Schmidt is in fandom. Of course he is. This is adorable.
